News and other useful information from Cornerstone
Cornerstone announces its ACT/SAT Summer Boot Camp dates for 2017!
Thanks to the similarities between the new SAT and the ACT, students can now enroll in Cornerstone's combination ACT/SAT summer boot camp and prepare for both tests at the same time!
This summer, students can take advantage of the early August 26 SAT test date as well as the September 9 ACT test date and get their test prep and actual testing out of the way - before the school year even begins!
Cornerstone is now entering its tenth straight season running Boot Camps - click here to view our summer 2017 schedule. Our Summer Boot Camps are a perfect solution for student-athletes, or for students who are overloaded on extracurriculars during the school year. Students will be warmed up and ready for the fall ACT and SAT test dates, and any dates thereafter.
Beginning in late July, students will be able to work with our master’s-degree and PhD-level instructors to learn strategic and tactical approaches to the ACT and SAT.
These small-group classes, which are typically capped at eight students, feature a total of 25 hours of test preparation. All books and materials, along with an actual conditions test (administred outside of class time), and a special 4-hour review class held in late September, are included in the $1,395 tuition fee.
Our Summer Boot Camp students have experienced tremendous score increases as a result of completing these courses. Recent graduates have received scholarships to schools such as RPI, and others have been recently accepted to MIT, Amherst, and Middlebury, to name a few.
No doubt, there are less expensive alternatives (sometimes these are called ‘crash courses’). But none of them can boast the results of Cornerstone’s summer boot camps, or the confidence-boosting approach, or the quality of instruction. We recommend that you check out the impressive qualifications of our tutoring staff — you will quickly see why Cornerstone Test Prep and Tutoring offers the smartest investment in your child’s future.
